Woo hoo! Doug and I are ready....he's already been asking me about it. LOL ;) Thanks for putting this together.

Miss all the rally's. Wish I got to do this more than once before leaving. Have fun everyone.

The event flier, General Instructions and the registration form have been added to post #1.

Please check the flier for restroom information as there will not be any facility open near the registration area.

The rally route has been set and even though it has been shortened to approximately 60 miles this year, it should be an interesting, challenging and fun journey.

Sorry, but I won't be able to make this one. I'll be on a flight to Hawaii! Maybe next time.

Favorite Event EVER!

I'm glad you will be joining us this year. I ran through version 5 of the instructions on Saturday and Don and Becki will be doing the pre-run this Sunday. This should be a fun event.

So ... I see we are in the Oly area this year ... I am hoping the route keeps us off Fishtrap Loop, which did, indeed, trap us when we went that way the last time. :)

Yes, we are headed north from Olympia this year. And yes, although you will be in the general vicinity, the route does not include the the infamous Fishtrap Loop that Rich so fondly remembers. ;)

Becki and I ran the route with Ron today and found it to be fun, interesting and a bit challenging. I am sure those of you that participate will have a fun filled day and see some roads you may have not seen. Good luck to all that take the challenge.

Challenge? What challenge? It will be a fun drive through the woods :D, through town (twice) :o and up "The 5" but with some great scenery thrown in for good measure.

Well I did not want to give away any of the route other than it was fun and a bit challenging. It could be that I am directionally challenged or perhaps my navigator was, anyway it was fun. Folks will not be disappointed for sure.

There's still time to RSVP (http://ssmini.org/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&day=2012-10-13&e=127&c=1) for the Winged Victory VII rally. You don't want to miss out on all the fun. :D

Only a few days remain until the battle royal!! Can't wait to win!:p best of luck to all that have non-red Mini'... Just kidding, about the red mini thing.:D

10-08-2012, 12:52 PM
Good luck to all the non-blue MINI's. LOL :)
I might bring Tucker, but not sure how he would do sitting in the car while we eat at the finish line.

10-08-2012, 01:47 PM
It looks like more Chili Red cars have RSVP'd ... I hope that improves our odds of winning, but who knows ...

10-09-2012, 06:29 AM
We won't be making it this year. Too many bills coming in. :(

10-09-2012, 07:47 AM
We're going to miss you and Gerald, but at least it will increase the odds of a non-blue (red) MINI winning. :D

There's still time for you to RSVP (http://ssmini.org/forum/calendar.php?do=getinfo&day=2012-10-13&e=127&c=1) for Winged Victory VII. Even though the weather forcasters say it might rain, we're still going to Motor On. :motoring:

10-12-2012, 01:24 PM
Alright, who did the rain dance?

We're still good to go for tomorrow, but will have to keep the tops up.

Just a reminder to bring your filled-out registration form, cash or non-perishable food donation to the food banks, a clipboard, pencil(s), and your sense of humor.

10-12-2012, 02:08 PM
Actually I heard scattered showers for tomorrow so it may not be that bad. I, for one, am happy it's settled the dust in my driveway. Oh, and BTW, thanks for not starting til 9:00 :)

10-12-2012, 05:33 PM
So with the rain convertibles should get bonus points due to lack of visibility.

10-12-2012, 07:59 PM
That's a no. But it was a nice try. Are you saying that you and John need all the help that you can get? :D

10-13-2012, 05:48 AM
No Dale and Rox, they have the roadster and they really should get a handicap for that.
