- Born and raised in Tacoma until moving to Olympia in 1962. Linda and I married in 1971, one year to the day after four years in the Navy. We have two kids, Courtney and Chad, and one cat (Sidney). I have been involved in soccer, ballet (not a dancer), and marathons (not a runner). Almost all my cars have been foreign – my first car was a Volvo PV-444, three Volkswagens, and even with my French heritage, I'm on my fourth British car (a TR-4A and 2 MGB roadsters).
