Howie was asking about the normal operating temp for the F56 yesterday. I briefly tested with Dash (check out the app - I love it), and find in a short trip to the store and back, with the engine showing as OK, the reported temp was 189F. I'll check again after a longer trip today.

Thanks for the info. Joe sent me the shop manual info which for the life of me I can't open up now. I did print it out and put it in my book. Any way here is the range of temps:
