Bscc

If you like to autocross or do laps, BSCC (Bremerton Sports Car Club) is the place to start. As far as I know they are the cheapest club around. I enjoy racing with them, have never had a bad experience. Tomorrow is their first official autocross of the year, last month was practice and man did I need it. I skidded three wheels off the track, this time I am bringing my pump and pressure guage.

Go to bscc.net, there you can read the rules and fill in a club application. There is generally one autocross event per month. Membership is $20, and each event is $25 as long as you pre register. If you just want to try it once don't worry about a helmet they have loaners, but if you think you will make a hobby out of it at least then get an open face helmet of your own. The website will have the specs required. I believe it is currently

Wayne and Pete - I'll be glad to come be your cheering section. I have plans to turn Rich's BMW 325e into an autocross car one of these days. It looks like a ton of fun.

Great, here is the web address:
http://bscc.net/
Right on the front page is the schedule. "Event#" with a number arethe autocross events. If you maybe I can get Marlene to go too at least once. Maybe, I will put a bug in her ear.
