Coolant Temp & Oil Pressure Gauges

Here is an example of installing engine coolant and oil pressure gauges in an '09 Cooper Automatic. Cravenspeed now makes the "hotlink" for the Automatic and asked me if they could use my design, to which I agreed.

I deleted the photos by accident, sorry....

I have to say, I think it's pretty cool that they liked your design, and incorporated that into their product.

I am not sure how closely they copied my design. Their original "Hotlink" was just fatter in the center section to have enough material to accept the sending unit install. Since I needed enough material for a larger diameter pipe fitting I needed more thickness, so to reduce weight I made it flat on the sides with a thick lobe on the opposite sides. I did not want a bunch of extra weight on those hoses vibrating around.

I wish I had a larger lathe and if I make another one I will make a trip to a friends ranch who has all the tools to make it in a few hours instead of a couple of days as it took me!

Oil Pressure Readings

So, does anyone know how to program the unit (I think called the Cansf) to make the digital part of the Tach read the current oil pressure??
